The Journal of South India Medicolegal Association (J-SIMLA) is a national journal and is the official publication of the South India Medicolegal Association. Articles are received from the medical fraternity throughout India and also from outside India.  The journal is published twice a year in March and September. The abbreviated title is ‘J South India Medicolegal Assoc.’ It accepts original communications, reviews, case reports, and short communications in the form of practitioners’ column, correspondence, and CME supplements in the fields of forensic science, forensic medicine, forensic pathology, forensic toxicology, forensic anthropology, forensic odontology, medical ethics and the law related to medical practice, and forensic aspects of biological sciences. All manuscript submissions are peer-reviewed by at least two independent reviewers. The journal is indexed in Scopus & Index Copernicus.
