Who Am I ? I'm an aspiring author, and I'm using this site to showcase some of my work.

My fiction writing so far falls into the genre of commercial fiction, aimed mostly at female readership, but I am presently drafting a new novel which will take me into the territory of thriller writing.But sometimes it's good to get out of your comfort zone . Maybe it will work, or perhaps it will all end in tears, or more likely I will stick it on a CD and forget it for a year or two. It's my project for 2009 so I anticipate I will be stuck like glue to my laptop for the next few months. But there's nothing like plotting out a new story, meeting the characters who will become as well known to me as members of my own family, imagining the place they will inhabit... and working out exactly how I'm going to turn it into a real 'thriller'.
I have completed a novel, set in France which I have been trying to rewrite. I hate tinkering with a storyline, but somehow, it just isn't exactly as I want it. But re-writing is something I hate. I'll have to do it if I ever intend to submit it, but it's one of those things I just keep putting off
So in the meantime I write short stories and send them off in search of a friendly publisher.
