There are three  ways to view the site;

in the Navigation box open the site map and then expand all in the hierarchy view.  This allows you to see all the individual descendants in tree form, allowing you to follow any thread you like.

At the top of each page the links show the descending line, while at the bottom of each page the links lead to the children of the individual you are viewing.

If you want to find an individual, it is better to use the Google Search Site engine at the top right.

11 Frederick Arthur Beard 1891

FREDERICK ARTHUR BEARD was born at Fairbank, nr Korumburra on the 29 June 1891. He was  a farmer. Frederick was 5 feet 8 1/2 inches tall with fair complexion, blue eyes and brown hair.
 Frederick joined the AIF on the 24 July 1915 and was posted with the 59th Infantry Battalion. He was sent overseas to Cairo and from Alexandria embarked on the 'Kinpauns Castle' on the 18 June 1916 bound for Marseilles, France. On the 28 July 1916, he was severely injured with gunshot wounds to his abdomen and leg. Frederick was transferred to the General Hospital in Boulogne, France by ambulance train and then transferred back to England.
He died there on the 30 July 1916, aged  25. He was buried in the heroes corner  of the Tottenham Military cemetery grave no. 7331. Frederick's remains were later exhumed and reburied in grave 7317 in the same cemetery.
