Mediterranean and Spanish wine

Vicky, Cristina Barcelona

Woody Allen chose personally the wines for some of the scenes in his movie Vicky, Cristina Barcelona. One of the selected wines is L' Ermita from Alvaro Palacios, the Priorat region (he is in my favorite wineries list). Other white wine is Plácet from La Rioja, which is the only white that Palacios elaborates; it is made of Viura and is produced in Alfaro his native town.

Allen selected these wines, since he new them due to his great presence in the United States market. The producers of the movie (Mediapro, Gravier Productions and Antena 3 Films) contacted Alvaro in order to propose him to participate in the movie. Obviously, Palacios is very happy and proud to be part of Allen's movie and to promote Spanish culture and its products.
