Jorunn Monrad has painted more than 560 tiles by hand, before glazing with oxydes, and painted the ceiling, upper walls, door and fixtures. The bathroom is located in the art cafe which is part of the contemporary art gallery, in Saronno, and may be visited by anyone. I observe, look, exclaim: "Compliments to the original artist, this work has captured my eyes!" Something's wrong with the colours however... ...I meditate, think and finally I've said to myself: "What a pity, if it were in black and blue (reference to soccer squad NdT) it would have been perfect!!"
