February 2008 - I have now become potty trained! It took a long time because I didn't want to do it. I told my mom and dad that when I went to school I would come home so mommy could change my diaper. I was going to keep the potty in my boy parts forever. Now that I go on the potty I can move to Mrs. McDonald's Sunday School class. I have wanted to be in her class for awhile. I am so excited.

June 2007 - Things have changed. I am now 3 years old. I call myself Jared now. I am not shy. When I go places I talk to everyone and tell them my name. I love to go to the library with grandma L. I know all the ladies and they give me treats. I still like diggers and pirates, but my favorite things are my sandbox and trains. I really like Murdoch the train. My friend Emily moved to Florida so I don't see her much. Eese has a new brother Merrick. He likes me and I like to make him laugh. I like to go to church and to Sunday School. My teachers are Mr. Aaron, Mrs. Debbie and Mrs. Donald. My church friends are Stephen and Timothy. I can talk very well and people always comment on that. I am very cute and very smart, and mommy and daddy laugh at me a lot. I am growing more each day.

I am Jared. I share my birthday with Aunt Amy. I was a very good baby for my mommy and daddy and started sleeping through the night for them when I was 7 weeks old. I am now 3 years old and am a very active boy. I am also very smart. I know all of my letters and can spell my name. I can count up to 20.

I don't go to school yet, but when mommy and daddy work I go by one of my grandma's houses. They take turns taking care of me.

My friends are my cousins Noah, Lukie, Jonah, Thomas, Eesie (Elise) and Katie. I also like to play with my friend Emily and Donna's son Kevin. He is in college, so I can only play with him in the summer.

I like to play with my diggers, cars and pirate ship and I love being outside! I cry when I have to come in the house.

My favorite foods are hamburgerts, pancakes, sausage, cheese Ice cream, hot dogs and pizza. I am a picky eater and I don't like to try many things so mommy has a hard time feeding me sometimes. Some day I will eat better.
