Committee Chairs Still Needed

Family Fun: The committee chair will be asked to help organize different “Family Fun” nights throughout the school year. Possible events will be: Bingo, Sweetheart Dance and Movie Night.

Health & Safety: The committee chair will be asked to organize Red Ribbon Week, Oct. 24^th -29^th. Different activities are usually scheduled for this week. You will also be in charge of Anti-

bullying activities through out the year.

Honor Breakfast: The committee chair will organize 3 Honor Roll Breakfast. These are held at the end of each 9 week grading period. During each breakfast, the children are given donuts and juice or milk. They usually get some free things and tickets for drawings.

Spirit Day/Concessions Co-Chair: The co-chair will be helping Leslie Brown on spirit days and any other day when popcorn is needed. You will help pop and bag popcorn for the students. This also includes selling popcorn, candy and soda at school events.

Room Parent Chair: This committee chair will collect all Room Parent names from the teachers. You will run a Room Parent’s meeting at the beginning of the year explaining to the Room Parents what is expected of them. You will be keeping track of these Room Parents and relaying messages to them from the Executive Board. You will also be working closely with Susan Meade-Hatfield to help organize the Fall Festival volunteers.
