F.D Johnston Elementary School PTA/PTSA will be voting at the 12/13/2011 PTA meeting to amend Article V: Membership Dues: Section 7 by striking out $5.00 and inserting $7.00
Currently reads:
Each member of this local PTA/PTSA shall pay dues of $5.00 to said association. The amount of such annual dues shall include the portion payable to the Georgia PTA and the portion payable to the National PTA.
If amended will read:
Each member of this local PTA/PTSA shall pay dues of $7.00 to said association. The amount of such annual dues shall include the portion payable to the Georgia PTA and the portion payable to the National PTA.
Rationale:
Delegates at the National PTA annual convention voted to amend the national portion of the dues from $1.75 per member to $2.25 per member effective July 1, 2011. |
