About me:

I am a father of three beautiful kids: Bethany, Madison, and Sean. I am husband to one wonderful woman: Amy. We got married May 9, 2006 in Montego Bay, Jamaica at the "super-inclusive" Sandals resort, which is a vacation I HIGHLY recommend if you have the means!

I have lived all over the country, from Austin, TX to Boston, MA to Charlotte, NC to Justus township, MT. Born in Lyons, Kansas to Steve and Nancy Hance June 30, 1976, making me about 32 years old. I've travelled all over these united states and to many places on the planet, including Mexico, Germany, Jamaica, and Switzerland. There are still many more places I'd like to visit before I die, like Ireland, Scotland, Tibet, Japan, Australia, Africa, Hawaii, Costa Rica, Iceland, Rome, Jerusalem, Canada, and on, and on!

I love a good glass of wine, sitting around a camp fire and soaking up the Great Outdoors, especially the Great Smoky Mountains here in North Carolina. Good music, good times with family and friends, and getting as much enjoyment out of the few short years we get on this green earth are the highest on my priority list. Or, put another way:

"I went into the woods because I wanted to live deliberately. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life...to put to rout all that was not life; and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived." ~Henry David Thoreau

When I die, I want to walk through the pearly gates with a grin from ear to ear that I can't stifle and say, "What a great ride!" Otherwise, I see no point to life at all.
