John Mutch is a freelance music journalist.    

He graduated from the University of East Anglia this summer, earning a degree in American Studies. 

In 2007 John moved to the States for a year. Here he studied at The University of Oregon and reported on the local music scene for The Daily Emerald and music website Junkmedia.

Since returning, John has been busy writing for a host of UK publications including subba-cultcha.com, Clash and The Fly.

 John has also taken time from music to write film, human interest and opinion pieces.
