Introduction
This workshop will teach basic Pilates exercises designed specifically for golfers. When performed regularly these exercises promote a flexible and strong spine and improve rotation and stability for your swing. They also help prevent back problems and give longevity in the game.
This workshop also covers the psychology of exercise showing how mind and body form one system and work in harmony.
Course Objectives
This workshop aims to teach the basics of Pilates for golfers As Bobby Jones once said “your power comes for your core”. Golf based Pilates will help build a strong core that proves stability and power adding yards to your shots and lowering your score.
Because mind and body work together to provide the many skills needed for golf, an understanding of psychology is important. This workshop will demonstrate how the human mind forms and processes thoughts and actions that combine to achieve optimum performance
