 This is hardly an update...but I feel the need to brag. On January 13th, I attended the opening of Brian Bedford's Broadway debut of Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest. My date was the fabulous veteran actor Tony Roberts. It was a treat to see this play staged, as I have only read and studied it for years! After the show, we dined with the gorgeous Jane Alexander. We had deep-no joke-conversation about theater, politics, and women's colleges. Other notables, such as Penny Fuller and Dr. Barry Kohn, also joined us at various intervals throughout the evening. It was fantastic, and somewhere-disappeared into the ether-is a picture (with me in it) that proves this happened;). |
