I have not seen the show on Broadway yet, but I saw it when it was at NYTW. It's fabulous. It's so much fun, and it's actually something you can take kids to. Plus, the cast is dynamite, and it includes my friend and colleague, Teddy Bergman. Run! More info here. |

03/12. Tom Lee Murrin, aka Alien Comic, aka Jack Bump passed away today. He will be sorely missed. I knew him for only a few years, but he made a big impression on me when I worked with him and Travis York on Scott Adkins' play, Lakeview Terrace. Known as the fairy godfather of downtown performance, he lived up to the title--incredibly kind, funny, peculiarly talented and perverted. He loved performance and he loved the odd. He was a deeply compassionate soul and I wish I could have spent more time getting to know him.
