Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas,an ambitious project started by PM late Mr. Rajiv Gandhi.It is aimed at providing quality education and bringing about overall development of students through co-curricular and extra curricular activities.It is a residential school setup and all the facilities are provided free of cost.It comes under HRD ministry. Though this project is very good at its intention, the goals are seldom achieved. Due to various factors,students don't get the facilities they deserve.They don't get the much needed guidance and exposure to the competitive world outside.So despite having a good pool of talent, Navodaya hardly deliver noticable results.

Keeping this in mind,some students from this school,driven by the idea to make Navodaya a  better place, came together and thus was born JNVT Alumni Association.

The wheels have already been set in motion.The association has been officially registered at district office.Here is a list of our goals..
