I'm playing around with a 2D game if you wanna check it out, you can download it.

•  Fixed timing so all difficulties have the same gravity.  (Before, it was a different game depending on the difficulty level.)
• Added a level or two when testing.
• Made some bitmap changes.
• Balls hit like they are round.

• Added a scoring system.  You get more points the harder the difficulty.
• Added a reload delay.  It makes it harder to accidentally fire twice, but easier to not get a second shot off in time.
• Balls are round now!!!  Yet, they still hit you like boxes.  How cruel.  There's also a stretchy spear head rather than a stretchy ball, for your weapon.
• Added bricks.  Balls bounce off of them like boxes.  Gonna make ammo break on them.  All bricks are indestructable right now.
• Balls are bounce and hit like they are round.  It still looks a little glitchy at the corners.  I'll work on it.
• Added a fudge factor to it hitting the player for less of those "THAT DIDN'T HIT ME!!!" moments.
• Added a "GET READY!!!" stage so you have a sec to prepare before each life/level begins.
• Multiple levels!!!  Level 4 is particularly evil.
• I left the player as red mage, just for Galen.

v0.1.6 here January 26, 2009 - Now when you win, you don't then die.  Also, I've added difficulties.  Pop physics is a little different.  Should give more reaction time.  I made the timer bar "prettier".  I've made it "easier".  I've made it bigger.  I've added a few sounds.  One of the sounds was Bonny's idea.  See if you can guess which one.  [Edit:  I'm told the scream was too loud.  This now has a toned down one.  Think of it as v0.1.6b.]

v0.1.5 here January 23, 2009 - Shoot things.  You can even win level 1.  No level two yet, but with how hard level 1 is, level 2 would be impossible.  So, play it.  See if you can win.  Controls are the arrow keys and the space bar to fire.  Only one "spear" at a time.  Let me know what you think.  Please make the subject line BB015.  P.S.  If you wanna cheat, the world is your ladder.

January 9, 2009  Yes, I'm still working on it.  I know I haven't updated since May of last year.  I've been busy.  Plus it doesn't really do anthing yet.  Version 0.15 should be out relativly soon.  You should be able to actual shoot things in it.  Maybe even progress to level 2.
