Chimie-ParisTech 2008-2010. City College of City University of New York 2006-2008. University of Tokyo 2004-2006. University of Manchester 2001-2004. Ph.D. from the University Henri Poincare Research Interests My primary research interest in fluid dynamics is in the onset of disordered motion in the flow along a pipe. Nowadays quantitative comparisons between experiments and numerical investigations are possible. The fluids I study could be as simple as water or complex fluids such as polymer suspensions or clathrate hydrates emulsions. My recent research has been on hydrogel particles packed in a box. ![]() Free surface flow between two horizontal concentric cylinders J. Peixinho, P. Mirbod and J. F.
