Research Interests
My primary research interest in fluid dynamics is in the onset of disordered motion in the flow along a pipe. Nowadays quantitative comparisons between experiments and numerical investigations are possible. The fluids I study could be as simple as water or complex fluids such as polymer suspensions or clathrate hydrates emulsions. My recent research has been on hydrogel particles packed in a box.
