GMX

Several weeks ago I received my GMX, all I can say is WOW!

When I opened the box, I literally took my field set-up off my helix riser that I used in Wales for the World Field Championships and moved it to the GMX, set the poundage and nocking point.  The bow tuned in matter of seconds with no adjustment required to the button. The second time shooting bow was for score in the Pro Line Archery indoor 450 league where I shot a 442 with ACE’s. (My highest score all season)  The bow grouped amazingly well and had a very consistent movement straight towards the target upon release.

Last week I changed the bow over to aluminum arrows (2212 Cobalt’s) to get ready for the Lancaster Archery Classic and the Vegas indoor.  Due to some of the tight indoor shooting conditions I changed the stabilizer setup from v-bars to a single rod configuration with a back weight.  I had shot my original GM, Avalon and Areotec with this style set-up, the feel was amazing similar.

This past weekend I finished 3rd at the Lancaster Archery Classic; competing in the compound limited division with my GMX.  Lancaster does do not offer recurve class but Rob and his team at Lancaster run a great tournament and his hospitality keeps me coming back every year.  For event info click here LAS Archery Classic

All in all the GMX is living up to its heritage. Next up - Vegas
