In addition to these academic endeavors, I also review grants for the NCAA CHOICES (alcohol education) competitive grants programs and serve as a content objective reviewer for the Massachusetts Teacher Educator Licensure (MTEL) examination for the health education sciences. I am a member of the American Public Health Association Violence Committee – Injury Section and the Injury Control and Emergency Health Services (ICEHS) Steering Panel and the Men's Health Caucus for the APHA.

Community

I stay active in the community through advocacy efforts with violence and drug prevention initiatives, human rights groups, as well as participating in several cancer awareness and fundraising activities (Relay for Life).
