General purpose & compliance

www.emc.com  A rather complete suite of archiving solutions which they inherited from their Legato acquisition. Of course they will try to push their Documentum suite and their hardware too.

www.hp.com A very scalable enterprise archiving platform through the acquisition of Persist Technologies a few years ago.

www.ibm.com Although no seen much outside of their captive markets (Notes, Mainframes); IBM has a solid offering.

www.zantaz.com A pioneer in the space of electronic archiving as a service, they focus is essentially compliance archiving.

www.ixos.com A reputable company for their SAP solution, it has a minor but existing play in email archiving. Mostly EMEA focused and for Exchange only. No significant presence in North America
www.symantec.com Probably the market leader in email archiving due to the acquisition a couple years ago of KVS (tracing its roots to Digital Equipment). It is a solid solution but with limited scalability which is a challenge for large or high volume enterprises.

www.princetonsoftech.com Great experty in DB2 archiving. It is really their forte.
