The story of Impact begins in Sept 1992. Having a musical background all his life, He got intrigued with Hip Hop DJ's at an early age and knew right away that this was the path for him!
Organizing small private events and fundraisers from day one made him a very dedicated, resourceful, and hard working DJ/Promoter. With 15 years under his belt, you can guarantee that this man has tasted almost every style of music there is to play. As humble as he is, he continues to DJ across Ontario on a regular basis.
In 1999 Impact was asked to enter the Northern Ontario DJ Skills Competition hosted by Much Music's Master T. Impact's new love for the electronic music pushed him to play a set of funky breaks in a pure hip hop competition. The Records he used in this event were not even his own. With nothing planned and using records he had never even touched before He blew the crowd away! Quick mixing, tons of scratching and having the highest crowd reaction placed him 3rd overall.
In July of 2000, Jitter Jaw Productions was born. Impact and his partner at the time Triple X built a scene so strong in the Sudbury and surrounding area’s that it could not be broken. DJ’s from all over the world caught wind of these events, and for 7 years this company pushed its way through thick and thin to become what it is today. Together with his new partner Elycit, Jitter Jaw Productions is not only a name that threw AMAZING smaller scale events, but is also in the works to becoming a great booking agency with well over 30 DJ’s and MC’s who represent this company name.
Impact himself has played alongside great names such as T-1000, Hardware, Czech, ANT, AK1200, Rowland the Bastard, Chris Liberator, Andy Trex, D.D.R, Suade, DJ Morgan, Josh the Funky 1, Kevin Energy, Marco Dux Baby, Derb, Miss Innocent, Luke Spellbound, Madam Zu, Gaku 666, and many more!
Impact is known for his action packed sets that will move any dance floor from start to finish.
