CME- Head and Neck Cancers

CME on Head and Neck cancer was organized on 14th November, 2010 by Regional Cancer Centre,  JIPMER. The recent increase in the incidence of head and neck cancer is alarming. The worldwide incidence exceeds half a million cases annually. Over one third of all cancers in India occur in the  head and neck. The primary reason for this unusually high incidence is the indiscriminate use of  tobacco in its various forms. This CME is designed to foster discussions on the management principles, screening methodology, the challenges and the latest developments in the field of head and neck cancer, so as to provide the delegates a comprehensive review of the subject.
