The School offers a variety of fine arts classes and sessions:

OIL PAINTING CLASSES:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday night and Saturday afternoon

Paintings by J.Zelazny /1,2,4,6,7/ and by KeMing /3 and 5/

LIFE DRAWING SESSIONS:
Wednesday & Friday 2hrs from 6 30pm $30

Please bring your materials. Easels and board provided

Multi-disciplinary ART events:

- live world music concerts and theatre productions at Brunswick St. Fitzroy, School location in years 2004-2006

Art and Music Festivals:

- Matisse' Dance 2007 (North Fitzroy) and Icicles and Raindrops 2008 (Northcote).

- RENAISSANCE VILLAGE FESTIVAL since 2007
- multidisciplinary, Arts and Music 3 to 6 days camping.

Held at BELL PARK Scout Camp, 130 Scout Drive, Nyora, Victoria
- twice annually - fundraising event over New Year and at Easter.

RENAISSANCE VILLAGE:

The art of SOUND, LIGHT, COLOUR, WORD, MOVEMENT and NEW FORMS/ NEW MEDIA of expression.

It is also about a wiser approach to the environment. About respecting it and caring for it.

RENAISSANCE is also about bringing back to the central stage old and valid cultural traditions - indigenous and non indigenous. It is a forum for INDIVIDUAL ARTISTS and GROUPS. It is a forum for different LIFESTYLE groups to demonstrate the best of their kind.

It's a FAMILY and CHILDREN FRIENDLY place.

It is created and attended by LIKE MINDED PEOPLE !!! of all ages and persuasions.

2. CLASSIC JAM - MELBOURNE

A group of unconventional classical musicians taking their art out of the concert hall and letting rip around Melbourne.

Through fun, informal, high quality chamber ‘jams’, we aim to bring our music to audiences beyond the concert halls by

playing in bars, cafes and unusual spaces in and around town. Bring an instrument if you play, a set of ears if you don’t,

and join us on our non-classical adventure.
