Welcome to my homepage! I'm Jing Yin, a graduate student in the physics department of University of Colorado at Boulder. You could find me in Murnane & Kapteyn's group in JILA. I'm enjoying myself in mountains of science and nature. (though get lost sometimes :P ) Now I'm in my third year in the graduate school. The main research area is studying ultrafast dynamics in surface and solid systems, using ultrashort EUV pulses obtained from high harmonic generation. Most processes we are studying finish within a few femtosecond time scale. This is a very exciting direction, as few people have the ability to monitor these processes in time before. Though spending most of my time in research, I love to have some time enjoying life. Hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter is my favorate part of life in Boulder. Here I met some valuable friends--those I'll never forget. Working in CU-CSSA also enriches my experience largely, and offers me the chance to meet a lot of cool people. I like it! Now my biggest wish is to do good research in the lab, and my second goal is to go travelling around US and China. It's a big big world outside-- I just want to go and experience it. Would you like to be my friend? ^_^ |
