I currently build these guitars in my shop in Northern California. My apprenticship was done at Fender Guitars USA in the late 1970's when they were located in Fullerton California. I started in the lumber room selecting the maple boards to be used in the neck assembly of the guitars and ended as a final quality assembly technition where all the processes come together to create the final instrument. Along the way were many stops in learning the process of the Fender guitars, including the special neck to body joint assembly that I use in the JLS models today.

I stirve to keep "Quality" not quantity the main focus of the JLS guitar as well as keeping the price point available for "all" traveling musicians.
