David Vance, 67, a patient of Dr. Charles C. Snow at The Medical Center of Central Georgia. costing Medicare and Blue Cross $178,487.48, not including doctor’s charges for only a 3 weeks "stay".
David was healthy until being administered a lethal overdose of acetaminophen from too many Percocets, 3 days in a row by Dr. Thomas C. Woodyard at Coliseum Northside Hospital. David’s biliruben climbed from a "normal 0.5" to "5.4" as of 5 weeks later! After being sent home without treatment, he was then all of a sudden placed on Zocor by his doctor, William P. Brooks, of Macon! David died of cirrhosis a year and a half later. It is a shame that the doctors who must have casually done this have so far gotten away with it.
