Rhythm Track Bounce

Essential for making your drum line available for PC transfer or to Bounce in an Insert Effect....

There are 2 methods for getting the rhythm track on to a regular track.

Method 1
This is the simplest and quickest way.

  1. Mute everything but the drums
  2. Press [BOUNCE] until it turns red
  3. Press the Status Key of an empty stereo Channel until it turns red (you can use mono but the drums sound better in stereo)
  4. Press [REWIND] - [RECORD] - [PLAY]
  5. Listen and wait until it has finished
  6. Press [STOP]
  7. Press [BOUNCE] button until it goes out

Method 2
This method produces the same result but you can listen to the other tracks while bouncing. You would want to do this if you want to manually tap in some extra drum sounds while recording. (or perhaps you want to record the whole drum section manually?)

  1. From the main screen, tap [SYSTEM/UTILITY]
  2. Cursor right until "SYSTEM BOUNCE" is displayed and press [ENTER]
  3. Cursor right until "BOUNCE REC SRC" is displayed and press [ENTER]
  4. By default, "MASTER" is selected. This represents that all tracks that play will be recorded.
  5. Turn the dial until "DRUM TR" is displayed.
  6. Press [EXIT] repeatedly to get back to the main screen.
  7. Now you can follow steps 2 - 7 from method 1 above.
    • Any drum pad keys you press now will be recorded in real time.
    • You will here all tracks but only the drums will be recorded.

Both these methods work for the Bass sequencer but you'll only need a mono Track (Unless you are using a Stereo effect, of course)
