 Jim lives with his beautiful and talented wife, Monika and their two dogs in California's great central San Joaquin Valley. They lived for a time in China's Sichuan province where they both taught English, Monika teaching in her second language. She is originally from western Germany and recently tested for her American citizenship. Monika is now the executive director of LifeLine Community Development. Jim has taught seminars in customer service, and is now devoting full time to writing, and scholastic chess.
