6 - Pastime Activities

In this picture, my son and I are taking in a pleasant and affordable minor league baseball game.  I enjoy reading and writing about the history of baseball, and I am a member of the Society for American Baseball Research (SABR).   I follow my beloved Boston Red Sox with the help of the fine Boston Globe reporters.  I also collect artifacts relating to the game with the help of eBay and the Philly Show.  Listening to music is another pastime of mine.  Although I appreciate a variety of genres and musicians, the Beatles are my heroes.  Beyond the regular catalog is an abundance of interesting material.  The vast majority of the extra material that is in public hands has been well organized by fans calling themselves Purple Chick. Finally, I do my best to stay in shape by lifting weights in my basement and jogging (sometimes it is more of a stagger) around town.
