Why Mexico and South American So Inffatuated With Narcotic Trafficking and Deadly Violence

Why Narcotics Are So Prevalent In South America & Mexico

What's Next for Mexico (?) Drugs, Mafia, Civil War, Failed State (?)

Everyone is shocked lately. Why is South America infatuated with narcotic trafficking and drug violence? Like any other product, the answer basically boils down to the drug, supply and demand; and in both America and Western Europe, the demand is higher than ever! In fact, "Globally, drug use is not distributed evenly. In general, the US had among the highest levels of use of all drugs. (2010).”

And, the high cost of narcotic trafficking not only is taking a toll on the thousands of lives lost South of America's border, drug abusers are dying of overdoses, and additionally, the situation places the idea of placing an electronic fence on America's border with Mexico, a sound idea when considering the increasing risk of illegal aliens being paid to bring into America when they cross the border of (Texas/Mexico) not only narcotics, but also materials used in making dirty bombs and other terrorist equipment. Narcotics sales and a myriad of organized criminal organizations has weakened America's  security since Afghanistan and North Korean Opium  are both the world's largest opium producers.

America has been extremely successful in keeping drugs out of America's watery and air entrances. Any drug addict will tell you, drugs like cocaine have been exceedingly more difficult to locate to abuse in every major city in America. This is not to say America is at all
winning the war against drugs." Insofar as this goes, the war will never be won in the identical manner "prohibition" won the war against drinking; it just did not work. However, relating to Mexico and South America, the recent result of making drug penalties stiffer coupled with
the fact that it is nearly impossible to "bribe" customs officials anymore owing to high technology making it more impossible for them  to accept bribes and get away with it, drugs can only enter America through the bottleneck that is in South America and Mexico. This is the reason for which the growing drug cartels and violence has enveloped Mexico in particular lately.

Why is this all happening now (?) It is owing to America actually “winning” the drug war elsewhere along America's borders with Canada and along the coast lands of the East and West.

I was chilling with a few Mexican friends this weekend for an extended period of time and we were discussing Mexico’s growing degeneration into thralls of mafia violence.

We pondered Mexico’s future and what was next for Mexico as it continues presenting great diplomatic challenges for US President Obama; this is why:

1) Mexico possesses a growing and tremendous amount of regional power/s emanating from the Mexican state quickly becoming the only route of passage for drugs originating in South America, entering into the United States of America. Such a position does not come without problems for Mexico;

2) Mexico’s growing drug mafia families control over 50% of its state territories with personal mafia owned armies rivaling 50% of the power of foot soldiers of Mexico’s regular army;
What's Next for Mexico (?) Drugs, Mafia, Civil War, Failed State (?)
3) Increasing violence and civil war become increasing realities in Mexico as
control between the Mexican State and Mexican mafia families constantly continue warring over territory and power;

3) Life comes cheap with hit men working for as low as $50- a hit;

4) Mexico is quickly developing a more complicated and vast array of underground tunnels for drug trafficking. My one friend whereby he merely walked underground with buddies of his from Mexico to a farm in Texas easily in this manner;

With Obama pressuring the Mexciacn government for a stricter drug policy, mafia controlled regions of Mexico will surely continue to war with the Mexican government trying to crack down on them.

This will surely throw the entire country into a humanitarian disaster if and when a Mexican civil war continues to manifest itself as a reality in the region. Humanitarian disaster will surely follow although the crisis in North Korea overshadows it on the nightly news.

What can help this situation (?)

A drug legalization policy in America whereby illegal drugs can be sold and taxed. Using drugs is a personal decision ought not be regulated by the Federal Government.

In this manner a power sharing policy between all parties involved in the drug trafficking business can be involved in the profits deriving therefrom in some capacity.

While it is not a perfect idea, as the prohibition period in America manifests “the war on drugs” will never work.

As a follow up article, I forgot mentioning my unnamed sources elucidated whereby Mexico is aiming to become the most powerful drug cartel run country in the world; this is why:

1) Mexico is quickly consolidating power and profit in becoming the single entrance gateway for which all cocaine and other drugs from South America gain entrance into the United States, for American customers through the tunnel system I previously discussed.

2) It is way too expensive as well as being a lost cause constantly trying to bribe U.S. customs officials to allow drugs in via the conduit of small aircraft and boat, in the post 9/11 environment and the constant threat of terrorism looming.

3) AS FOX News Channel brought up this afternoon, my sources told me of the single state in Mexico completely run by organized crime (everyone in this state is related to the drug cartel family). They clearly explicated whereby they kidnap persons for cash threatening to chop off fingers and other body parts of persons crossing them in the government.

J (more to come)

PS: All other countries in South America now depend upon Mexico for smuggling drugs into America.

Also my sources tell me that many illegal aliens crossing into the United States from Mexico are willing to work for Al Qaeda and carry bombs and bomb making materials into America with them for cold hard cash reward.

 I recently wrote an article entitled, Securing United States Borders With Mexico; I hope you all read it. If not you can read it here:
