Glenn Beck is supposed to be a recovering alcoholic.

Where is the 'recovery' with this man? From what I can tell Mr. Beck is nothing but an angry, loud mouthed blowhard who happens to have a microphone. Beck m...ay be sober, but in recovery?

We all know people like him in real lifeam and very few people like them and what they say or do in public, but give them a microphone and IT is entertainment.

But is this entertainment worthy of entering the serious public debate? His message(s)...It's poisonous,  alienating and obnoxious. Anyone know how to spell T-E-A B-A-G-H P-A-R-T-Y?

Maybe when the Lunatic Fringe on the Right takes over the GOP they will consider renaming their party the TB Party?

Dry Drunk Glenn Beck Loses Another Sponsor… His A.A. Sponsor

This reminds me a little of Bachem Macuno's " I Fucked Ann Coulter In The Ass, Hard." Only this time, the subject is Glenn Beck.

You can now add Darenn Tipple’s name to the growing list of sponsors who have dropped the doltish FoxNews show host. Tipple had been Beck’s AA (Alcoholics’ Anonymous) sponsor for the past two years; a feat many thought was impossible considering that in 14 years, none of Beck’s previous sponsors had lasted more than six months. Tipple’s feat did not go unnoticed though, as he was presented with the Medal of Mettle at an AA banquet yesterday. The medal is the highest honor given by the organization, and is only given to those who have shown unbelievable courage to stay sober in the face of insurmountable obstacles.

In case you can't figure it out, the piece is snark. But as a recovering alcoholic I say this: If ever there was a poster child for a dry drunk, it's Glenn Beck. Truth is though, I honestly think since he's been at Fox "news" -- but especially after 60+ advertisers have dumped him and he's in danger of losing his show -- he's definitively drinking again.

I can't even imagine what meetings with him must have been like.

So Glenn Beck is having his annual “Restoring Honor”
rally on the steps of the Lincoln memorial on the same day where Martin
Luther King held his historic March. That’s cool if Beck wants to have
his day in the sun, we’re sure all of his supports will come out and
cheer for him, but where he FAILS is this promo video for the rally. In
the 4 minute video montage Beck shows images of great Americans and
their achievements with a melodramatic tone that implies that he is also
one of these great Americans and he will achieve something great. That
is where Beck FAILS, he doesn’t seem to realize that he is a radio and
television show host and he hasn’t innovated anything, Beck is an
egomaniac that has brainwashed the masses into believing his rhetoric.
