Library Happenings...

Welcome Back!

The new school year is in full swing and things are busy at the LCS Library.   Our new primary students have already signed out their very first library books, and we've had lots of fun getting to know each other while sharing great children's literature.

Where Will We Go Today?

The next time you walk past the library, take note of our new hallway display entitled, "Where Will We Go Today?"   Here at LCS, we love to learn about the world and travel to other countries through books!  Each year we read folktales,  historic tales, and modern day tales that teach us about different cultures around the world.  This year, we have decided to keep track of our journey and map our travels!  The grade 6s and 3s have each traveled to Japan, and the grade 4 students have already been to France!   Keep an eye on our map to see where we travel next...
