Multiscale Systems Lab (MSL, also known as the Miraculously Superb Lab) works on the science and technology of systems and devices involving multiscale dimensions. Students of the MSL learn and apply theory, numerical simulations, and experimental techniques to study a variety of interesting multiscale systems in engineering and nature.

多尺度系統實驗室（MSL）旨在研究工程及自然中具有多尺度的系統與元件，研究核心是「材料與力學」、方針是「工程與自然、力與美的結合」、方法是「結合理論、模擬與實驗」。實驗室的學生可學到理論、數值模擬和實驗技巧，並實際應用於許多自然與工程上有趣的多尺度系統。MSL 目前有2位專任研究助理、3位博士生、8位碩士生 (含1位生科系共同指導)、多位大學部專題生。自2011年成立以來共培育 (含在學、歷屆) 12屆49位碩士生 (含1位日本國際生、2位生科系共同指導)、3位博士生、1位博士後研究員，2位國際訪問學生，數十位專題生。畢業生有多元的職涯選擇：出國深造 (京都大學博士、MIT 博士、UC Berkeley 博士班、密西根大學博士班、卡內基美隆大學博士班、伊利諾大學香檳分校博士班、西北大學博士班、西北大學MBA)，任職於學界(成大環工系助理教授)，或(曾)任職於業界，如台積電、聯發科、群聯電子、美商Ubiquiti、艾司摩爾 (ASML)、科磊 (KLA-Tencor)、鴻海、華碩、宏達電、台中精機、彩富電子、惠普 (HP)、德州儀器、Garmin、乾坤科技、新代科技、美光、工研院、康寧 (Corning)、啟碁、日本 Caterpillar、日本近畿車輛等公司。畢業生現職分布圖
