Who knows why it took so long for me to figure this out, but I am finally reconciling myself to vegetables. My old eating habits and my old buying habits just don't work. I am finding I am enjoying my vegetables so much more now that I've learned NOT to buy in bulk only to have it sulk and wither away in the "crisper". And I've learned to DO eat fresh.
I now get my vegetables several times a week, and I keep some frozen packs in the freezer for emergencies. Amazing, how much better vegetables taste if they are eaten soon atter picked.
I built a recipe book from all I learned as a single parent cooking on a shoestring. I found the link again today (November 23, 2008).
