In the Physical Education department we expect pupils to cohere to our departmental and school policy.  This includes:

• Being prepared to learn in all lessons - We require all pupils to bring a full change of clothing, this should always include a change of t-shirt, track suit bottoms or shorts, socks and shoes.  This is also required when pupils are medically unable to participate physically in the class.  The pupils are still part of the class and should be prepared to learn and assist in the lesson.
• Participate in all lessons - While we acknowledge that pupils cannot participate physically in all lessons we insist that when unable to participate they have an explanatory note from their parents/guardian.
• Ramadan - During Ramadan we take special consideration towards our Muslim pupils, however we still expect everyone to take part in Physical Education.  Our policy is full in line with the Muslim Council of Britain's reccomendations which can be found here.
