If you are blessed with a good eyesight you may see a very faint whitish band in the sky. The band is none other than our famous Milky Way or Akash Ganga. If you observe carefully, you may see that the border is not the same at every place. Unfortunately, we cannot observe this wonderful sight in cities with polluted skies. But, after a heavy monsoon shower, or in times of total power faliure, we can see it. Otherwise, we can see it with powerful telescopes having 100x magnification or more. Then it will offer us hours of interesting views. Of course, we have to go to a really dark place, far away from city lights.
