Jewellery Artisan: Inspired by Earth & Sea

It is summer and life is casual. My trip to Kenya continues to inspire. Stop at the studio (or one of the galleries showing my work) and try pieces on. Everyone has their personal "take" to each amulet, necklace, bracelet or earrings. Most of the summer collection is "easy breezy," yet some of the pieces offer a subtle sophistication.

These necklaces and earrings feature Kazuri beads from the collective in Nairobi, Kenya, along with bone birds and sterling silver.

This bracelet is similar but with the addition of antique Tibetan prayer beads.

On a very different note, I have a geode from Brazil that I wrapped in a prong style using sterling silver (front and back views).

Below are two of my favourite stones: turquoise and carnelian. The necklace also features a teardrop of agate and sterling silver with a dangle for the nape of your neck.
