So I'm on the gumtree website looking for a free toaster and I come across this ad:

THIS IS COMPLETELY FREE...I HAVE TICKETS FOR H&M AND GUESTLIST ENTRY FOR PANGAEA

So being a fashionista myself I call up this random girl Jaime - and end up going to H&M with her, fighting the extremely good looking crowd for the pre-sale of the limited edition range designed by Madonna and chasing hot French waiters around for canapes.

After H&M we hit to Pangaea at Picadilly, all velvet ropes and bouncers looking you up and down. My god the place must have been hit by a model bomb - everyone there was young, beautiful and glamorous (and most likely rich). I felt really uncomfortable there :)

Jaime was also quite a character - a Jaim'e lookalike from the TV show We Will Be Heroes. Originally from Woollongong, she liked bright makeup, catsuits, wigs and talked about herself a lot and her quest to get into the fashion industry (including a stint as Lily Cole's personal driver). If you go into this week's edition of Grazia magazine (in the H&M goodie bag we got on the way out) you'll even see her featured as the member of the public who is on this week's Fashion Jury casting judgment on Reese, Sienna and Kate.
