Why I am here:
As many of you may know, finding a job while married to a military man is a somewhat difficult task since you are known for constantly being on the move. This realization inspired me to spend more time devoted to one of my greatest passions... drawing.

How it works:
If you are even remotely curious to see what may result or are looking for the perfect gift for a family member or friend please feel free to email me your photo to jessicaschuetz@gmail.com. Include your email address with the photo. I will email you back when the drawing is complete and you can come here see how it turned out. It's that simple! (Please include in the subject title new drawing)

In any case, I would appreciate having new photos to draw from. :-)

Price:
There is NO obligation to purchase the drawing I produce.
For me its simply fun to practice drawing subjects from actual photos and moments in life. If however you wish to purchase the original we can discuss price based on the complexity of the picture and time taken to complete it. Most original pieces begin at $40.00 - $45.00. Payments can be made to me online through the secure website PayPal.

Photos on this site are not exact representations of the original drawing since color may be effected by the flash of the camera.

Please meet little Autumn Jo. This was the first baby picture that I drew from a announcement I recieved in the mail.

I like to draw from snapshots because

this is where you most likely will catch a someones true personality.

This is the photo that I drew from to capture Jer Jr. Little Jer Jr. looked so cute in this picture and I was able to draw a great headshot of him eliminating the arm holding him up since most of it was missing. Drawing photos allows me to create a drawing focusing solely on the primary subject.

From photography to art and the results were wonderfull!

This is one of my favorite drawings and the photo is timeless in itself. It captures the first few moments of mother and child.

But having the blinds in the background, the chair and other distracting elements took away from this moment. Drawing this picture allowed me to eliminate those distractions from this moment and create a truely timeless memory. I was so happy to be able to draw this already perfect moment.
