  Our Story

Ollie and I met at the University of Florida in April 2005 when we were both students.  He was studying Electrical Engineering and I was studying Psychology and Marketing.  We met at a party that was actually at his house.  It was the same day that I returned to Florida after spending a week in NJ for my grandpa's funeral.  I had no desire to go anywhere and I was so behind in work and school, but my friends decided I needed a night out to get out of my depression.  I'm so glad I did, because I met the love of my life at that party and we were inseparable ever since that night.  I'm pretty sure my grandpa up in heaven arranged for us to meet.

The Proposal

Ollie asked me to marry him on February 22, 2008 when we went to St. Augustine for the weekend.  I had been to the beach there several times, but never saw the historical parts.  We went to visit the fort, Castillo de San Marcos, and we were on the top level overlooking the water when he popped the question!  If only had any clue of what was going to happen, I would have dressed in something very cute and took the time to put make up on that morning.

Right after the big question!

unless I can find matching turquoise ties
