STIMULUs > NEURAL CODING > BEHAVIOR

(repeat)

I am a neurophysiologist currently working as a principal investigator at Paris Brain Institute. I also own a permanent position at the French National Institute of Health (Inserm).

With my collaborators, we are using high-density recordings, brain imaging, neuro-computation and neuro-ethology methods to investigate different neuro-behavioral mechanisms.

My research focuses primarily on the neural processes associated to decision making in the dopamine and basal ganglia systems. To do so, we investigate, for example,  patients with Parkinson's disease who are candidates to deep brain stimulation.

In 2010, after the completion of my Ph.D. in cognitive neuroscience at the Institute of Cognitive Sciences (ISC, Lyon, France) where I investigated the neural mechanisms involved in sensory-motor control, I have been enrolled as a Post-Doc Research Scientist in the Department of Neuroscience at Columbia Universty (New-York, USA).

Since 2018, I am working at the Paris Brain Institute ('Experimental Neurosurgery' Team, ICM, Paris) in collaboration with the Jean Nicod Institute (ENS, Paris, France).
