Welcome to my website. I currently teach 6th and 8th grade mathematics at Derby Middle School in Birmingham, Michigan. This website is designed to give a sampling of my work as well as illustrate some ways in which I utilize differentiated instruction in my classroom. My philosophy of education is simple: I believe we should give children the tools they need to learn, and the inspiration they need to become life-long learners. I try to model these principles for my students every day. I believe strongly in differentiated instruction, and giving my students exactly what they need to excel academically.
