Article of the Week Details

1.      Print and annotate the article.

2.      Write the thought paper, which should have the following components:

·         Thorough explanation of what was stated in the article

·         Your opinion of the article – What did you agree/disagree with? What connections did you make? (personal, literary, historical, etc.)

·         Should be at least 350 words - double-spaced, 12 pt. font, Times New Roman

·         Follow all MLA format guidelines including heading

·         You can choose how many paragraphs you need but it must be separated into paragraphs.

·         Try to integrate the explanation of the article with your opinion.

·         Include at least TWO quotes from the article (remember to cite!)
