I was born and raised in Ontario, Canada. I was an avid cyclist during my teenage years and in my early 20's. Later, I spent my late 30's and all of my 40's studying taekwondo and received my black belt in 2002. Two years ago, after a sparring injury, I decided to take a break from karate and get back into long distance road bicycling. The bicycle bug bit me again, and now I am planning for my ride across America on my Fezzari CR2.
