In late March 2007 I finished my M.Sc. in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Electronic Science and Technology (Xidian University) in Xi'an, China. My supervisor is Professor Zhenhua Duan. During my postgraduate studies, I am team leader of the FPGA CAD Research Group and a member of the Institute of Computing Theory and Technology (ICTT). My academic research is in the areas of Reconfigurable Computing, FPGA Architecture and CAD Algorithms. I am interested in architectures of next-generation Field programmable Gate Arrays and Computer-Aided Design algorithms that map circuits to these devices. A Field-programmable Gate Array (FPGA) can be programmed to implemented virtually any digital circuit. This programmability provides companies with the ability to implement large, complex circuits without requiring access to an expensive state-of-the-art chip manufacturing plant, an expense that is out-of-reach for most small and medium-sized electronics companies. The goal of my research is to develop advanced CAD tools for placement and routing in FPGAs and devising logic block and routing architectures which improve the speed and density of FPGAs. Then using FPGA chips for reconfigurable computing research. In addition, I am also enthusiastic in the world of Open Source Software and Linux Operating System.

Since I obtained my Master degree, I've been working at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University as a Research Assistant.

I received my B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the College of Information Science and Technology at Nanjing Agricultural University in 2004.
