My hubby and I were married in September of 2006 in Chicago. We are living in Baltimore while he finishes grad school so needless to say we are renting. I can’t wait to own our own home so we can paint and decorate however we want! There are so many things I wish we could change about our rental house but we don’t want to invest any money in a place that isn’t even ours.

We are making the most of the rental space we have. It's a tiny little narrow row home (965 sq feet) with an oddly placed staircase! Disclaimer - I am a self-proclaimed Pottery Barn lover. I am trying to only use the catalogs for inspiration and not buy anything else from there because of you D&R nesites, I have discovered overstock.com and JC Penney!

Living room. Recently painted the bookshelf a rich brown to match the rest of the furniture. Coffee table is from Pottery Barn. Couch is DH's parents...can't wait to get our own. Green pillows from PB on sale - love them!

Let's move into the dining room. Table and mirrors from Crate and Barrel. Kitchen/Bar cart from Target and recently spray painted black. Wine shelving purchased on sale from potterybarn.com.

Close up of shelves. Any suggestions for how to accessorize this area? It's so blah right now! I'm saving up wine corks for a candle holder but other than that, I've got nothing right now.

And now for the upstairs. This mirror and flower set is at the top of the stairs. Yes, it's another Dubois mirror from C&B but I love them! I figure I can use all three as a grouping at our next house.
Our bedroom. It's so tiny that our extra bedside table is in the basement and the closets are in the hallway.
Dresser is from PB outlet. Side table and bedding from PB, bed from local store in Baltimore, Su Casa. Lamps from Target. Mirror from Lowes.
I'd like to get some frames to put above the bed and another decorative pillow for the bed.
And our one bathroom in the whole house!
And now, my wish list!
First thing I'd love to purchase is a new couch and/or leather chair. I love NPWedding's Cameron sofa from Crate and Barrel:

I love this whole room and especially the pics over the bed (from Rate my Space):
I love this kitchen table and colored chairs. I would love to do something similar a la Makena and refinish an inexpensive table and add green chairs for a punch of color (from Pottery Barn):
And I have to show my favorite nursery from RMS - I love the black crib and mirror and the wall color. It's so different and unique! The fabrics are to die for too.
