Highlights of our art program include:  an annual eighth grade mural,  an eighth grade wall tile mosaic, several cross curricular activities.

Field Day 2008 was a unique and exciting event.  BBES decided to make field day a special event to precede the 2008 Summer Olympics.  Students shared and learned about each other's heritage.  Students from grades K-7, joined in teams, representing different countries.  In the art room, students worked in groups, painting large flags, representing their team's country.  Great enthusiasm  spread around this event, and creating these life sized flags. 

  May 2007 to September 2007, our students' work was on exhibition at the Monmouth and Ocean County Foodbank.  This exhibition included large, collaborative art projects, illustrating examples of good character.  A  large Character Quilt is on permanent display at the Foodbank.
