In January 2012 it was confirmed that David would be directing both The Big Bang East Midlands (28th June at East Midlands Conference Centre) and The Big Bang West Midlands (26th June at Thinktank, Birmingham). This added extra fair was awarded on the back of the extremely successfully East Midlands event in 2011, and David is looking forward to both days with a huge amount of enthusiasm, especially as the Stand-Up Mathematician, Dr Matt Parker will be at both! |

Over the weekend of 10th-12th June at the Blue Orange Theatre, Birmingham's newest venue for the arts, there was an acting competition called 'Barefaced: Stripped Back Theatre'. I was part of the pair that won overall, as well as winning the final evening.
It was an absolute pleasure to be part of such a unique collaborative project in a brilliant fringe venue, and I'm looking forward to working with all the actors there again. |

Another string being fitted to my bow is that of filmmaker for the By Design Group. So far I've completed a major project for the Nottinghamshire City and County Employment and Skills Board called STEM Skills... Uncut!, which can be viewed by clicking here, and a promotional film for the company itself, viewable by clicking here.
