![]() My name is Julio Rojas-Mora. I'm a Systems Engineer from the University of Los Andes (ULA - Venezuela), with a DEA of Statistics and Operations Research from the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC - Spain) and a Ph.D. from the Department of Business Economics and Organization of the University of Barcelona (UB - Spain), under the direction of Dr. Jaime Gil-Lafuente. I have been a Research Engineer for the WiNEM ANR Project, at the Center for Teaching and Research in Computer Sciences of the University of Avignon (CERI - UAPV - France) under the supervision of Dr. Rachid El-Azouzi. I also had been an invited PhD student at the Maestro Team (INRIA-Sophia Antipolis - France) under the supervision of Dr. Eitan Altman. I am currently working as a postdoctoral fellow for the ROLSES ANR Project, at the UMR CNRS ESPACE of the University of Avignon, under the supervision of Dr. Didier Josselin. The objective of the project is the study of robust methods to solve location problems. My main research subject is the decision making process through fuzzy subsets in complete or partial absence of statistical information. I also have done some work in non-parametric statistics, resampling, networking performance analysis, networking resource allocation through game theory, and legal and economic problems of copyrighted content file sharing and network neutrality in Internet (with my wife Sulan Wong, who is in the photo with me). |
