I was born on the 28th of June, 1980, in Coimbra, Portugal. For 22 years I lived in a beautiful small village called Alcouce, in the region of Coimbra. In 2003, I completed my BA in Journalism, in the University of Coimbra. Since 1995 I had been working in the local College radio (Rádio Universidade de Coimbra), where I was a DJ, a journalist and President of the Board of Directors, in 2001. After being a trainee journalist in a national radio (TSF, in Lisbon), I flew to Macau to work in Radio Macau, the public service broadcaster, where I work as a journalist. Since 2005 I have been a contributor to Revista Macau (a Portuguese Speaking quarterly magazine), Hoje Macau (a Portuguese language daily newspaper) and Macau Business (a monthly English speaking magazine. In 2007 I completed a Master in European Studies, in the Institute of European Studies of Macau, a degree granted by the University of Macau, in cooperation with Université Libre de Bruxelles. Besides EU-China issues, I have been writing about China´s relations with Portuguese Speaking countries, Chinese foreign policy and Chinese political development. |
