Hello!  My name is Jennifer Bagladi and I am 25 years old.  I am originally from Holland, MI, but have spend the last several years going to school at Western Michigan University here in Kalamazoo.  I graduated high school in 2000 and came to WMU after that.  I spent four years here at WMU studying social work and psychology.  I graduated with a BSW in 2004.  I came back to school in 2005, where I have been studying English, communications and secondary education.

     My family includes my mother, father, and one older sister.  I am very close with my family and talk to them on a daily basis.  They have all been very supportive of me, encouraging me along the way. 

            I have enjoyed my time here at Western Michigan University and am looking forward to having a classroom of my own.

Professional Experiences

     I have had many valuable experiences working with youth.  I graduated from Western Michigan University in 2004 with a degree in Social Work.  During this time I was given the opportunity to do an internship at the Children’s Trauma Assessment Center.  I worked with children and adolescents ages 1-17.  I also recently completed my pre-internship at Delton Kellogg High School, where I worked in a 9^th grade English classroom.  During this time I also participated in many outside activities such as chaperoning a school dance and attending school basketball games and wrestling meets.  Aside from the experience I have had working with adolescents; I have also worked as a preschool/daycare provider and assistant director at a local daycare facility.
